Wednesday, February 19, 2020 was an event to help build a bridge from the east side to the west side of the Saint Francis of Assisi Sculpture Garden located at 2025 Fulton Street East, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
What a time we all had on the 19th Floor of the Bridgewater Place downtown. Three wonderful condos were open to us and we could partake in the best German cuisine by Chef Norbert Dill, drink St. Francis Wine, Beer or Moscow Mules. We could stroll along the hallways packed with wondrous Artwork and Sculptures by Mic Carlson and Photos by Andrea Angelucci of Assisi, as we listened to the music of Accordion Extraordinaire Dave Slivinski and Master Trumpet Player Gerry Kaminski.
The views of our city of Grand Rapids were lovely as we sat and enjoyed camaraderie with tons of wonderful people! What a fantastic eve this was. One that will be talked about for a long, long time! Thank you to all who came and experienced this all with us and a great big THANKS to Max and Jan and wonderful neighbors George Ohse and Michelle and Alan Hoppes. A shout-out of thanks to the residents on the 19th Floor for graciously giving up their hallway for the event as well.
